What is the fastest way to learn the basics?

Read Cannabis 101 first. It is a single page covering cannabinoids, terpenes, consumption methods, and dose-by-format guidelines in plain language. From there, the First Visit guide walks through exactly what to bring (21+ ID, cash or debit), what budtenders ask, and how the Dutchie order flow works in-store and at delivery checkout.

Where do comparison guides live?

The /guides directory holds side-by-side product, brand, and category comparisons. They are written for the specific decision a customer is trying to make — “is the LEAL pre-roll or the Nanticoke pre-roll a better $20 spend?”, “edible vs vape for first-timers?”, “solventless vs distillate?” — rather than vendor-style overviews. Each guide includes the trade-offs, the Leafology Price Guarantee implication, and a deep link to the relevant menu.
  1. Where do I start if I am new to cannabis?

Start with Cannabis 101 in our education hub — it explains cannabinoids, terpenes, consumption methods, and dosing in plain language. From there, the First Visit guide walks you through exactly what to bring, what budtenders ask, and how to order on Dutchie. If you prefer talking to a person, every Leafology budtender is trained to onboard new customers and a certified Cannabis Ganjier is on the floor for free consultations.
  2. Who writes Leafology's content?

Every guide, blog post, and education topic is written by Leafology budtenders, the in-house Cannabis Ganjier, or our floor manager. Content is reviewed annually for accuracy against current NY OCM regulations and product availability. We do not republish vendor copy.
  3. What is a Cannabis Ganjier?

A Cannabis Ganjier is a certified cannabis sommelier — the highest industry credential for flower and concentrate evaluation. Fewer than 300 people hold the credential worldwide. Leafology has a Ganjier on the floor and curating the Connoisseurs Corner of rare craft drops, hash, and small-batch flower.
  4. Are the comparison guides biased toward Leafology brands?

Comparison guides cover every brand on our shelf and explain trade-offs — potency, terpene profile, price-per-mg, format. The Leafology Price Guarantee on flower means we will match any licensed Westchester dispensary's advertised price, so a guide that recommends a competitor's specific drop is still actionable inside our store.
  5. How often is the content updated?

Education topics are reviewed annually for NY law and OCM compliance. Blog posts are written weekly. Comparison guides are refreshed on every major product launch or regulatory change.
