Settlement and incorporation of the city
The area was first settled in 1664 by families from Connecticut as part of the Town of Eastchester. It became a village in 1853 and a city in 1892. Early development was driven by the New York Industrial Home Association No. 1, a home building cooperative organized to build homes for "tradesmen, employees, and other persons of small means".
In 1894 the voters took part in a referendum on whether to consolidate into a new "City of Greater New York". The referendum failed in the city and in adjacent Yonkers, both of which remain independent cities.
Pickup and delivery from the store
Build a pickup order in the live menu, which sorts flower, pre-rolls, vapes, edibles and live rosin and live resin by category, and show your valid photo ID at the counter. Deliveries go to homes and private businesses in New York, and the driver hands each order only to the person named on it, after checking a valid photo ID that shows 21 or older. If you would rather not drive, the delivery page for the city covers coverage checks by neighborhood. Drives from Pelham and Bronxville have their own pages, the location and hours page lists when we are open, and the Westchester directory covers every town we serve.
